On July 26, approximately 150 friends and students of Chia-ying Yeh, Professor Emerita of Asian Studies, gathered at the Asian Centre Auditorium to celebrate with her on her 90th birthday.
Hosted by Asian Library, Department of Asian Studies, the Centre for Chinese Research and the Institute of Asian Research, along with the kind support of the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre and the Chinese Canadian Writers’ Association, the celebration was also the Vancouver opening for the touring exhibition celebrating her life and work on her birthday.
